- Join the ChatGPT beta program by visiting the beta sign-up link and clicking „Become a Tester.“
- Wait a few minutes for the update to appear on Google Play, then update the app.
- After updating, open ChatGPT version 1.2025.070 and then click on your avatar in the bottom right corner.
- Go to „Language Settings“ and enable the „Background Conversations“ setting.
- Go back to the chat window and click the wave icon in the text field.
- Let the voice load completely
- Hold the power button to open the assistant selection and select ChatGPT
If the wizard selection does not appear automatically:
- Go to the Android settings and look for the „Assistance and voice input“ settings under „Default apps“.
